When Jedi Corask Slen'da discovered this partnership, he traveled to Rafa V to eliminate key members of the Sharu who were in league with the Centrality, hoping to end the slave trade. Unfortunately, Slen'da's assassination plot was discovered and he was forced to work the orchards himself. Luckily, his identity as a Jedi remained a secret and played the part of a brainwashed worker until a rescue team arrived. Believing Slen'da to be a vegetable and of no more use to the Sharu, Chief Supervisor Myle Jandler allowed the rescue team to leave with the Jedi. Once safely aboard the rescue ship, Slen'da convinced his rescue team to assist him in destroying the orchards in order to end the barbaric enslavement.
